Toorima used her wings to push herself away and dodge, but the attack caught her off guard and she wavered before stumbling to the ground to catch her balance. She glared sharply and snarled. "Why you little--" she hissed through clenched teeth as she now darted forward at Trigger.

Trigger swayed sideways drunkenly as he was hit full force by her attack. He laughed quietly and stumbled to the side, seemly barely affected.

Crescent felt like he was rooted to the ground, he could moved. He just gawed at his adopted son's crazy out burst.

Trigger swayed sideways enough to almost fall over before he caught himself and put all for paws on the ground. He looked down at them and said
"Woo! That was close~!" He looked back up at Toorima and Crescent. His irises had changed from soft pink to muddy yellow and the pupils were slit. He laughed crazily. "Look at the sky~! It's all black~ It's so pretty~~!" He laughed again.
"You know what looks good with black~?" He continued maniacally, lurching closer to Toorima. "Reeeed~!!"
((Guess what? I've been watching Soul Eater again. XD))

Toorima growled, then smiled. "You're quite right. The question is, who will leak red tonight?" she asked poetically, then darted into the thorns above the two dark guardian's heads. She hid, and carefully watched for an opening to strike.
