The deal has changed

Aurum walked through the forest, slowly making his way to the lake. Once there he dipped his head to take a drink. The last few days had been busy, and yesterday in particular seemed to have been the worst yet. He was jumpy, and easily thrown into temper tantrums. He knew this, and saw that the others were taking notice, as well, and so came here to try and calm himself. He'll soon find that doing so wouldn't work, however.

"I want to talk to you about our deal," a voice called irritably.

Aurum jumped in surprise, nearly falling into the lake as he spun around to see Toorima. "Wh-what?" he asked, then cleared his throat quickly before saying, "What do you mean? Has it been done?"

"No. I want you to keep an eye on my dear sister's location. This might take longer than previously thought," she said, frowning and glaring angrily.

Aurum looked frightened by the look and the tone in her voice, but tried to seem calm, anyways. "That wasn't the deal. You complete the task set for you, and I'll give the location of where you sister was last seen," he replied. Although he didn't look it, his tone sure did seem calm.

"The deal has changed!" Toorima snapped suddenly, flaring her wings just slightly. She then quickly calmed herself and continued, "Follow my sister's location, and I will quickly put an end to the miserable life of that accursed leader of the dark guardians. That is the new deal. If you do not follow through with this I will personally make sure your life is just as painfully unpleasant as if you would have went and stood in a raging fire. Got it?"

Aurum shuddered and clenched his teeth at the thought, then nodded quickly as he replied, "Y-yes, I understand."

Toorima smiled, then said, "Good~ very good. I shall return when the task is done, then. I advise you start searching for where my sister might have went, for your sake." And with that, she spread her wings and darted into the sky.

Aurum lowered his head with a sigh. "What have I gotten myself into?" he asked himself quietly. He was shaking, and felt as if he were suffocating, as well. He didn't know what to do. Should I tell father? He could help me get out of this situation... but then I wouldn't get the credit, and he'll never think highly of me. No, I have to show him that I'm the best, even if it means searching the entire continent for the sister of the Phantom Killer.

Trigger had finished his duties for the day and had left camp unnoticed. He planned to go see if Glacier, Rose, Flutter and Blaze were still in the cave Glacier had mentioned. He peered through the trees, deciding he'd cut across to the sky guardian territory near the lake. He wondered vaguley if he should bring food, though he was mostly preoccupied by praying silently that they were all still alive. He could see well enoug in the dark, being a dark guardian, but in his distracted state, he didn't notice the yellow fur of a light guardian about his age near the lake side until he was right behind him. From a life time of being taught to move quietly in the dark combined with his habit of sneaking and avoiding detection to therefore avoid trouble, the light guardian didn't seem to notice him either.

He tasted the air quietly, the scent of the alliance of the day was emminating strongly from the light guardian. His eyes widened when he realized this. His heartbeat quickened as his eyes widened and his immediate instinct was to gasp, scramble backwards before tripping over his own paws, quickly righting himself and cowering while rambling
"I'M SORRY! I'M SO SORRY! I DIDN'T NOTICE YOU! THISISN'TEITHERALLIANCESTERRITORYANDIDON'TWANTTOFIGHTPLEASELEAVEMEALONE!" He paused to inhale. "...Don't hurt me..." He muttered, staring at the other guardian with wide eyes.

Aurum once again jumped, startled by the sudden appearance of another guardian. He stumbled at the edge of the lake before righting himself again. He then looked to Trigger and blinked. He quickly realized he didn't recognize the guardian, and smelt the air. His first instinct when he smelt that he was with the alliance of the night was to crouch in preparation for a fight, but when he realized that the guardian looked terrified and was rambling in fear he righted himself and simply sighed quietly to himself in relief. At the current moment he couldn't fight properly if he tried with all his might. As he waited for Trigger to stop he tried to regain his strong sense of pride and discipline. However, by the time he had finished, Aurum still wasn't recovered from the fear of recent events, and in fact, was still shaking, even.
Despite all this, he still tried to seem menacing as he replied, "You're lucky we ran into each other here... if it had been the forest I would've ripped you to pieces."

(xD I don't know why, but this is hilarious to me. xD)

Trigger swallowed and got shakily to his paws.
"I...Uh...y-yeah...s-sorry...I..." Suddenly realizing he didn't need to explain what he was doing out late to this guardian, he forced himself to stop talking before he said to much. "...s-sorry..." He mumbled. ((lol idk. XD))

Aureus was wonder where her brother had been for the longest time, and she was getting bored and worried. The light guardian had to find him.

As she wandered through the forest she took deep breaths in hoping to find a trail she could follow. It didn't take long to find the fimilar scent, walking quickly along the trail she found herself in a fimilar area where another guardian and her brother happened to be. "Arurm? What are you doing here?" She took a deep breath in and smelt the opposing allicence scent. Without a second thought she charged at the dark guardian.

Trigger glanced at the new light guardian, and screamed in fear when she charged him. He backed up quickly.
"AAAUUGHHH!!!! I-I'M SORRY!!!! I'MSORRYI'MSORRYI'MSORRYI'MSORRYYYYY~!" He sobbed in terror.

She stopped dead in her tracks. Why wouldn't he defend himself? "What are you doing here?"

"Th-this isn't your territory!! Th-this isn't m-my territory! I-I c-can be here if I want!" He panicked. "I-I w-was just passing through a-anyways!" He stopped realizing that that could very well come off as he was going to invade their territory. "I-I mean...I-I was on t-the way to..." He trailed off, realizing that admitting that he was going to see his rogue friends could make him come off as weak, and his forced loyalty to his "father" wouldn't allow that. "...um..."

She looked down at him with slight discust. it might have just been a trait she got from her father, or something that was inherrited from the long war the dark guardians and the light guardians had for each other.

Trigger stared back for a second before swallowing and looking away.
"...Well...th-this is awkward..." He mumbled.

"Pardon?" She said looking at the dark guardian, still starring at him.

"Nothing!" He squeakedalmost inaudibly, his gaze dropping to the ground again.

She blinked her gaze away from the poor looking thing. He seemed very gittery and malnurished. She sat down now knowing that he wouldnt be much of a threat.

Trigger exhaled in relief, feeling the fur on his shoulders lie flat.
