Trigger stayed mostly quiet, save for murmuring 'no, no, no, noo...please, nooo...' throughout the conversation. His stomach lurched at Star's words next to him.
"...Wh-what?! Now?! As in right now?!" He felt his heartbeat quicken. he glanced at the other dark guardian, but his gaze quickly slipped to his father, realizing he must had overheard.
...And then unconsciously fell to Solare's daughter across the clearing, only to quickly pull it back down to his paws.
His mind was going a mile per minute. He was panicking, trying to get his thoughts in order.
Glacier couldn't come on the trip. That would upset his whole plan! This was supposed to end his suffering, and his whole miserable life.
They couldn't be leaving right now, either! He...he wasn't ready! He felt light-headed.
And what was bothering him so much about the light guardian?!
