Species:Psy’s exact genetic make-up is hard to determine. She is almost definitely a mutt, showing defining traits present in a sky guardian; most prominently her wings and tail-tip, although where most sky guardians have a fan or bush of feathers, Psy has a quiff of long-ish fur on her tail-tip and forehead that hang limply and frequently get in her eyes. While she is almost definitely part sky guardian, Psy’s bone structure and overall size denote the presence of light or dark guardian genetics as well of that of a fire guardian as shown by her unusual tail length and paw size. Her fascination with the world around her, water and plants in particular and her instinct for the physics of such things could also indicate influence of water and earth guardian genetics as well. Although her special guardian status means she could really be anything.

Even though I have a picture, I put a lot of work into a description, so that’s what I’m gonna do, dammit. D:<
Unusual genetics aside, Psy is scrawny and under-fed. Everything about her seems too small except for her paws and tail, which she is always tripping over. Her bones, which are easily seen through her pelt are frail and thin, and for a cross-breed that is prominently large guardian (Fire and Sky) She unusually angular and narrow.
Her coat is tangled and missing in patches. Despite this, her fur has the softer, more‘hair’-like feel of small guardian fur, making her unable to fly at high altitudes for very long. Not that she would be brave enough to anyway.
In color, her fur is creamy off-white with pale blue streaks from the corners of her mouth, down her chest, over her ribs and flaring out into curls just infront of her back legs. More streaks star at the inner corners of her eyes and run over the back of her head and down her back, ending on her haunches, The left line ending in a swirly tribal-like pattern. Her paws are the same light blue as the lines, and though her forehead fur retains the same off-white as her base coat, her tail tip is a darker, yellow-ish color with blue highlights.
Her ears are oddly shaped’ angular and bent into lopsided, almost hairless shapes, though according to her, they are too large and attention-grabbing.The fragile skin is ripped and pierced in places with bite-holes, one of which supports the gold ring that is much like Clessidra’s necklace.
Her wings are primarily cream-colored with a few blue feathers. Many feathers are missing, which makes flying possible, but difficult, resulting in her being mostly earth-bound. Other than that, her pelt is absent of feathers, unlike normal sky-guardians.
Her eyes are light blue and sleep-deprived and her right eye has three parallel scars, while her left eye has a swirly pattern like on her flank coming off the outer corner.

Personality
Psy prefers to keep to herself as much as possible, though because of her element, and the pressure of keeping balance between sanity and insanity, she herself has gone a bit “quirky” and her fur and feathers have started falling out.
Psy has a split personality. She is mainly in charge of maintaining sanity in other guardians, even if her own is starting to slip away.
Her ‘other self’ as she calls it is the half that measures insanity. This is represented, according to her, as a version of herself with a full pelt and the colors inverted and doragon-like wings. So far this ‘other Psy’ has only been in her head, though she persists that it could take over her body at any moment, and lives in fear of it.
History
Psy was born to parents of unknown species of guardian. They were not part of an official alliance, but instead a small group of rogues who didn’t want any part of the war. The group was made up of all different kinds of guardians, and had been around for a long time, and the years of breeding between species had caused a small number of cross-breeds to be born.
When the group wandered onto the territory of the alliance of the night and they were all killed in the crossfire except for Psy, her older brother, Phischiey (Nicknames: Phisch, Fish, Phisie, Fishie) and her older sister, Sesphyl (Nicknames: Sessy, Ses, Pyllie, Phyl). They were the last of the group and the last of the cross-breeds.
The stress of survivor’s guilt and trauma were most effective on Psy and Phischiey. This was one of the main events that caused Psy to inherit the Special guardian status. This sent Phischiey, who had yet to find his element and maybe never would have, considering neither of their parents were born with and element, as were very few of the guardians in the group.
Phischiey attacked his sisters, murdering Sesphyl and cornering Psy. In her panic, Psy accidentally summoned her power as guardian of psyche and implanted their sister’s dead spirit into her brother’s mind as a head-voice in order to escape. Sesphyl did not like this at all and she made many attempts at revenge, trying to kill Phischiey. All of them failed.
One day, a year later, they came across Psy wandering alone in the forest. Phischiey attacked Psy, still vengeful and now clinically insane. Once again, Psy panicked, and their sister’s spirit was transferred to her mind and became her head voice. She eluded her brother by hiding and when he gave up, she was prepared to hide from him for the rest of her life.
Sesphyl couldn’t have been happier with the arrangement, her lifespan had been expanded to that of a special guardian and on top of that, it became easier than ever to inflict revenge upon Phischiey…if only she could convince Psy to confront him.
As for Psy, all she knows is that her sister talks to her in her head. She doesn’t realize that ‘other psy’ is an incarnation of her sister, her insanity and her survivors guilt about ‘the group’.
