Demon blinked, then smiled.
"I um..." He looked at Tweak who swallowed.
"W-when I was r-really young, D-Demon was staying with m-my parents and I, a-and w-we were attacked b-by um..." He glanced at Demon.
"War guardians who thought we were on their land or something. Maybe they weren't war guardians, I don't know. They still thought we were trespassing, though."
Tweak padded closer to Demon and sat down.
"Um...D-Demon killed them...b-but they m-managed to..." Tweak trailed off again.
"they managed to kill his parents first. We didn't know if more would come or not, so I let him come with me." Demon finished, wrapping his tail around Tweak.
"D-Demon's not really l-like a dad or anything. H-he's more like an o-older brother o-or something..." Tweak mumbled. Demon smiled and purred before licking Tweak's ear.
"So he's been with me ever since." He finished, looking back at Clessidra.

Clessidra blinked, then looked away. "O-oh. I see," she said slowly, looking away. She felt bad for the kit. As the guardian of time, she simply outlived her parents, and they died of old age, but for Tweak, he lost them at a very young age. She couldn't even imagine how she would have turned out, should she had lost her parents at such a young age. After a long pause in which she went over these thoughts, she muttered a quick, "Sorry."

Demon pricked his ears.
"Hm? For what?" Tweak blinked before starting slowly
"I-I had b-barely o-opened my eyes at the time...I-I d-dont even r-remember my parents all that w-well."

Clessidra looked to him with a sad, but remarkably calm, serious look. "But that's just it, isn't it? I understand that you have Demon, here, but... You'll never know the love a parent could have.. would have.. given you," she said. Just through her words and how she spoke them it was obvious that she had once taken her parents for granted, and now regretted it.
(Lol, I felt awkward writing that. She's getting all mushy about it and I normally wouldn't. I FEEL SO OOC!! xD But Clessidra will be Clessidra, so.. I put down what she says. >_>)

Clessidra looked up, blinked, then quickly said, "Oh! No, nothing happened to them. I just.. wish would have spent more time with them, that's all," she said, quickly gaining her nervous look back again.
(Guardian of time wishing she had more time. There's gotta be more to it. Lol xD)

Clessidra shook her head. "N-no need to be sorry! They lived long, healthy lives. I made sure. But.. I'm sorry, too. I didn't mean to stir up depressing thoughts," she said in a kind of sad, but still nervous, way.

Demon's ears pricked. "Depressing?" He asked, a little confused. "How is it...? Oh...Nevermind. No no no, it's fine." He smiled. ((Well there's always the default.  ...if my default is 'they get attacked', does that make me a bad person? O.O))) |

Tweak's ears perked at the sound of a twig snapping somewhere close by.
"D-did you hear that...?" He mumbled. Demon sat up a bit straighter, listening intently.

(-ponders- Hmm.. :/ Lol, I dunno, either. xD)
Clessidra made a tiny squeak, wondering if Akujin had come back. She got up and took a few steps toward Demon, feeling more scared of whatever was out there than just him in particular.
(Lol, she's slowly turning into another Tweak, isn't she? Looking to Demon for protection. xD
Also- You can make up whatever it is, I dun have a clue. :/)

((ummmmm......fffffffff I have no idea......So now for my second default: random npc rogue. xD
Also, I think Demon's okay with that, I'm not really sure why though. xD I think Paul is slowly convincing him that interaction with other people IS a good thing. xD))
Demon got to his paws, staring in the direction of the noise suspiciously. He blinked as a dark-furred earth guadian stalked into the clearing.
"What are you three doing on my territory?" He growled defensively. Demon blinked slowly, then smirked.
"You're kidding me." He sighed. "So this morning I got chased off of someone's 'territory' who actually had the numbers to maybe justify having it, andd now you expect us to just leave? You aren't a war guardian, are you? Do you live with other guardians?"
The earth guardian looked confused for a second before scowling.
"What? No, you're just in my territory while I'm hunting for breakfast." Demon flicked his ear.
"Oh, really? No family to feed? No friends to share responsibilities with?" He cocked his head, his tone cocky, bordering on malicious. The earth guardian's ears flattened.
"No...why?" He sounded confused, but like he was still trying to sound dangerous. Demon's smirked widened.
"How sad. So, if you were to, say, disappear, no one would notice?" He asked, pacing forward slowly. Tweak swallowed and backed up nervously until he ran into Clessidra. He jumped before shrinking away a bit, embarassed.
The earth guardian's eyes narrowed and he growled.
"What? Look, either you leave now, or I make you."
Demon's eyes narrowed and his ears flattened as he smiled.
"Looks like you're going to have to make me." He hissed, grinning. the earth guardian growled again, swiping at Demon with a forepaw, who ducked, causing the guardian to miss. Demon backed up a couple steps before a spike of rock rose out of the ground, which Demon had to jump to avoid. he laughed. "Oh, someone with actual skill, this could be interesting." He dodged to the side to avoid another spike so that he was closer to Clessidra and Tweak. "But as long as we're using elements..." Demon lashed his tail and thick black smoke rose out of the ground, envelopping the earth guardian. "Fighting is alot harder if you can't see." He turned to Clessidra and Tweak and smiled. "You two should hide or something." He said, glancing to the side as another spike narrowly missed them. "Or just keep moving. Completely up to you. I wouldn't sit still for too long, though."
((okay, I'll stop ther so you can reply. Also the timer's about to run out. xD))
